Our 8 Yard Kilts are made using 100% Pure new wool tartan and are available in various tartans and tweeds. Our Kiltmakers use traditional, time honoured craftsmanship to produce an exceptional finish. Because the measuring process is relatively simple, you can order your Kilt from us online and within 6-8 weeks we will ship it to you by courier. Explore our collection of Highland Jackets & Waistcoats. A range of traditional colours in herringbone tweeds, thornproof and barathea that will complement most tartans. Choose from Argyll, Braemar or Contemporary Crail styles. For formal day and evening wear, we have Black Oban Barathea in Argyll and Braemar styles along with the classic Prince Charlie Jacket & Waistcoat. We hold a limited stock of Jackets and Waistcoats but can have them in store normally within a few days.

Can't recommend Shilling and Fitz enough! Have a couple of uniforms in for adjustments and ranks, and the quality of work, price and service have been brilliant! Ordered a Blue Bonnet only on Wednesday of this week hoping to get it for the Remembrance Parade tomorrow down here in Swansea. Due to really short timeframe I wasn’t hopeful. However; Blue Bonnet arrived today by Special Delivery. Fantastic surprise, gorgeous looking Bonnet, outstanding craftsmanship; perfect fit and a nice touch by also including a Red Hackle. I have been buying from Fitz for some time now and can say that his work is second to none. I have known Lee for some time now, and can honestly say I have never come across a more knowledgeable person when it comes to military dress. His attention to detail is second to none, and what he doesn't know is not worth knowing in my opinion. As a piper myself, who wears full ceremonial dress, having Shilling and Fitz available for any tailoring required, really is a blessing.
We offer a full size medal and miniature medal court mounting service. Our medals are mounted in accordance with the Military Rules and Regulations set by an ex Military Master tailor. The cost for our medal mounting service is £20 for the first medal then £10 for each medal after that.
If you require medal ribbons for your uniform, the cost of this is £10 for the first ribbon the £5 for each additional ribbon. This includes the time taken to stitch the ribbons on to your garment. We can also supply medal ribbons on a bar with clutch pins.
If you require us to supply replacement or additional full size and miniature medals we also offer this service. Cost is dependant on the medal.

We do not out source our medal mounting - it is all done here at 42 Princes Street.
