The Flat Cap from Shilling and Fitz was also referred to as a driving cap back in the day. The bespoke tweed flat cap is the classic traditional shape, with a deep back and crown. Finished in a traditional style with a hessian interlining and hand-sewn peak.  

Because of the vast selection of tweeds available, this product can be ordered in-house or via a brief telephone consultation with Fitz.  Tweed costs vary depending on the weaver.  Shown here in a Harris Tweed.  If you have your own tweed, we can make up your cap on a CMT (cut, make and trim) basis.

All of our hats and caps are made to order by our bespoke hat makers.  Our usual delivery time is 4 weeks however during busy seasonal times such as Christmas, these times may increase to 6-8 weeks.
